THIS SITE IS DEDICATED TO ALL WARRIORS, VETS, MIA/POW'S, AND KIA.
The spirit of intent in the beginning was to free the oppressed of Viet Nam, but the intended spirit was encumbered by the Governments who sent them and their citizens.
Uncalled-for lives were sacrificed because governments encumbered the warriors.
This web site is a combination of Stories, Poems, MIA/POWs, and Memorials written by me the, The Spirit Warriors, Spirit Weaver. I tried to match the backgrounds, graphics, to each one. That is what makes this site different and unique from others. I tried to design it so that it will download fast and be enjoyable to view and read so that you want to come back again and again.
All stories and poems are copyrighted. I also belong to the IWVPA a group dedicated to War Vets poets and others. So feel free to stop by and visit them.
Who knows when it all started? How many tears have been shed? How many broken hearts? How many have come home and still suffer only to die suffering the remembrance and injuries caused by wars? How many died alone with no one to comfort him or her? How many died so violently and fast that they didn't know they had died? How many still carry ghosts of the past that they can't shake...I as others have found that by writing and sharing your ghosts starts the healing process
Warriors of Viet Nam
They left with the vision of the eagle
The strength of a bear
The stealth and cunning of a wolf
The thunder of the buffalo
The swiftness of a wild pony
Coming home as heroes
With the dragon in the Eagles claws
But came home as Valiant Heroes
Only to the ones who understood
The Spirit Weaver
Their homecoming was as if they were the war mongers not the Viet Cong. In other wars they came home heroes. Not with their heads hung low and their tails between their legs. Their battle upon returning home is worse than the battle they just left. They thought their love ones, relatives, neighbors, friends, would welcome them with open arms. How wrong they were most that knew them and most that did not SPAT on them and turned their backs. Even the GOVERNMENTS spat at them and turned their backs to them!
30 plus years and they are still fighting a war, a war called, "Survival."
Now they are beginning to hold their head up high and say,
"I fought in Viet Nam."
Who knows when it all started? How many tears have been shed? How many broken hearts? How many have come home and still suffer only to die suffering the remembrance of war? How many died alone with no one to comfort him or her? How many died so violently and fast that they didn't know they had died? How many died a slow painful death? How many are still alive that wished they were dead? How many are still missing?
Thanks, to all those who donated time and graphics to help make this site.
